Suffolk Gold has the distinction of being the first Toyger outside the USA to be judged 'Best Cat' at the August 15th TICA show in Bracknell recieving a 1st Place from USA judge Kim Tomlin (above) out of 23 cats!!!!!
He received his Supreme qualifying 'BEST CAT' from French judge PASCAL REMY at the Nov Elescar show then recieved his necessary points to reach 6,000 at the Dec Coventry show.
We at Mistymogwai are only too humbled to be a part of this Toyger breeding program knowing full well the incredible journey they have been on through the last 20 years. We have been blessed with outstanding breed lines created with extreme dedication over many years by Toyger stalwarts such as Judy Sugden, Bob Rohrbaugh, Anthony Hutcherson, Tally Angle, Pam Rohan, Jenifer Santee.....to name a few. Our success is a tribute to them and we'll never forget!!

Harry has sired Aztec's last 3 litters producing 2 TICA Champions from the first one (see below).....'Dark Satin Dancer' is doing well at shows in the kitten category and his newest baby girl, 'Suzala Gold' will make her debut in Jan '10 and shows much promise both as a show Toyger and as a future Queen. A big thanks to Toygerpaws cattery in Belgium and Steve/Yvonne of JungleQueen Toygers here in the UK for looking after Harry during his 2 year journey to his permanent home here at Mistymogwai......we love him dearly.

Dark Majik achieved Champion in his first ever show as an adult.....most impressive as he was only 8 months 5 days old. Dark Majik (Shaggy) now resides with JungleQueen Toygers where we understand his nickname is aptly named as he begins work in producing another generation of lovely Toyger kittens!!

Aztec has the distinction of being the FIRST Toyger 'outside the USA' to achieve TICA Champion. She acheived this milestone at the first TICA show which Toygers were recognized for Champion status 5 May 2007 in Bracknell, UK. Similarly, she achieved Grand Champion, Double Grand Champion, and finally Triple Grand Champion (isolated scoring) before being retired from shows to produce stunning kitten after stunning kitten.

What a gorgeous Toyger Apollo is..eh? At the suggestion of the Toyger breed founder, Judy Sugden, we had him reclassified in TICA as a Household pet as a way of getting him recognized and he IS recognized now!!! He is an absolute 'suck up' with the judges which has only added to his success. He does not have a problem talking with anyone especially the judges....we are so pleased we kept this boy as a pet from our first ever litter of Toygers in May 2008.....best birthday present Mike has ever gotten!!
